Dr. Adolph Brown

Dr. Adolph Brown is the Director of Global Economics at Melanin Valley, where he leads global research and strategy focused on economic mobility, innovation, and community advancement. With experience across higher education, reentry policy, and regional economic development, Dr. Brown is known for designing frameworks that expand opportunity for marginalized communities while strengthening institutional and local economic ecosystems. His research spans labor markets, higher-education economics, and the long-term economic impacts of educational attainment—particularly within HBCUs and urban localities.

A Visiting Scholar at Rutgers University and Fulbright Specialist, Dr. Brown also teaches economics across multiple institutions, including VCU, VUU, CNU, Edward Waters University, Paul Quinn College, and Reynolds Community College. His work highlights the global economic power of Black innovation and the transformative role of education in shaping future economies.
